What we did
In this residential renovation, we transformed a dated downtown loft into a bright, functional space designed for modern city living. By opening up the layout, upgrading finishes, and making smart use of every square foot, we created a home that feels spacious, current, and effortlessly livable.

Key features
Open-Concept Layout: Removing non-structural walls created a seamless flow between living, dining, and kitchen areas.
Smart Storage Solutions: Custom built-ins make the most of a compact footprint without feeling cramped.
Updated Finishes: Modern flooring, lighting, and fixtures bring the space firmly into the present.
The vision
Our client had bought the loft for its character and location, but the dated layout and finishes made it feel closed off and out of step with the rest of their life. They wanted a home that kept the industrial charm of the original space while feeling brighter, more open, and genuinely modern. Above all, they wanted a loft that finally felt like a reflection of who they are.
The process
We started by opening up the floor plan, removing walls that had broken the space into small, disconnected rooms. Custom storage was built into underused corners to keep the compact footprint clutter-free, while updated flooring, lighting, and fixtures were layered in to modernize the space without erasing its original character. Throughout the process, every decision was guided by how naturally the space would flow.
The outcome
The result is a loft that feels open, bright, and unmistakably current, without losing the industrial charm that drew the client to it in the first place. Every corner now serves a purpose, and the space finally matches the pace of city living it was always meant for. It's a home that feels entirely their own.
